Bayer Drontal – Deworming cats, no side effects, helps cats develop normally.
1. Uses
- Controls all gastrointestinal worms including tapeworms in cats.
- Roundworms: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina.
- Hookworms: Ancylostoma brasiliense, Uncinaria stenocephala.
- Tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis.
2. Dosage and usage
1 pill for 4kg body weight of cats. Drontal is only given as a single dose (worms may not be present in the stool after treatment or 48 hours after treatment).
Note: Because Praziquantel has a bitter taste, it is better to give the tablet whole than to crush the tablet and mix it with food. Can be given on an empty stomach or mixed with food.
